Mizzi Automotive Services Ltd specialises in car and body repairs. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to work in this industry as a Quality Controller.

 

Tasks

 Control, direct and adjust where necessary the quality of the work being done in the various sections of the workshop.

Manage the body shops consumables and paint distribution and purchases.

Monitor and report on the productive employees. 

Work closely with the assistant manager to ensure that vehicles are repaired in a timely, safe and correct manner.

Participate in daily progress meetings and report any problems or unexpected delays to the assistant manager.

Test and record various consumables attributes and compare against a pre-defined standard specification.

Monitor production practices to ensure that they meet manufacturer repair standards.

Provide assistance to production staff where necessary.

Complete documentation to show that inspections have been carried out and record whether the product met the standards or not.

Analyse and carefully log into production documentation any defects found.

Perform check-in and check-out inspections on all vehicles coming and leaving the Body Shop.

Qualifications and Experience

 

O-level education standard

A certificate in Automotive Technology and Repair would be considered an asset

2 years’ working experience

Valid driver’s licence category B
