Industrial Motors has been around since the early 40’s originally selling Roots products, namely Humber, Hillman, Sunbeam, Singer, Comer and Karrier products. Industrial Motors became the sole distributors of Suzuki and Mitsubishi in the 1960’s. They were originally also the sole distributors for SEAT, prior to SEAT being amalgamated under the VAG group. SEAT distributorship is now located at Continental Cars ltd.

In 2008 Industrial Motors became the official Renault Trucks importer and in 2023 has taken over one of Japan's most reputable brand, Nissan, previouslly represented by Nissan Malta Sales Ltd. in 2026, Industrial Motors Ltd. has also taken over MG. 

Today, Industrial Motors is found in  National Road Blata il Bajda and hosts all the above brands plus a variety of bike and scooter brands.
